Possible Cause(s):
Activex component(s) not registered
User is not local Administrator to Machine
Windows Vista/7 User Account Control is on
Excel is not installed
Windows 7 Compatibility Assistant may be blocking install (see pic below)
Solution(s):
Log in as Local Administrator
Disable User Account Control (link)
Disable Windows 7 Compatibility Assistant (link)
Make sure Microsoft Office Excel is installed

Timer Pro Error : 75 - File/Path Access Error
Possible Cause(s):
User may not have read/write access to the c:\timerpalm directory.
User may not have read/write access to local user directory (example ‘My Documents’)
Solution(s):
IT Ad
ministrator should give read/write privileges to the c:\timerpalm sub directory
IT Administrator should give read/write privileges to local user directory _________________________________________________________________________________________________
Timer Pro Error : No Timer Pro Icons created on Desktop
Possible Cause(s):
IT Administrator installed timerpro using an account different from User’s account.
User does not have privileges to install timerpro
Solution(s):
Have IT Administrator give access to User to install timerpro
IT Administrator should give read/write privileges to the c:\timepalm sub directory
If Icons still do not appear after install IT should log on to the user’s account and add:
Shortcut of file c:\timerpalm\timerpropc.exe as ‘Video Timer Pro’ to Desktop
Shortcut of file c:\timerpalm\tproprof.exe as ‘Timer Pro’ to Desktop
Shortcut of file c:\timerpalm\tpro.exe as ‘Process Analysis’ to Desktop

Timer Pro Error : 76 - Path not Found
Possible Cause(s):
Timer Pro Demo download clicking on Video Timer Pro may get this error
Trying to save Applet Studies in folder other than the Applet directory
Solution(s):
Bug Fix: Download the latest Timer Pro Demo install from acsco.com
Save Applet studies in the same directory as Applet application

Timer Pro Error : Root Element Missing
Possible Cause(s):
Timer Pro may have a corrupted configuration file.
Solution(s):
Delete all the files with an .XML extension in the following directory:
c:\Users\Public\Documents\Applied Computer Services\*.XML
This should clear up the ‘Root Element Missing’ Error
Version 11 License Timeout Error
Possible Cause(s):
Local IT department has end user machine firewalled from internet
Local IT department has black-listed everything but trusted sites
No internet connection (stand alone)
Proxy Server for this machine not configured
Solution(s):
IT to Remove internet firewall restriction (if only temporarily)
IT to white-list: acssupport.acsco.com (198.251.67.187)
Insure machine can ping: acssupport.acsco.com
Configure Proxy Settings to allow Port 80 connections
In Internet Explorer go to Tool/Options and Select the ‘Connections’ Tab:
Select ‘LAN Settings’ and check ‘Use a proxy server for your LAN’:
Enter correct Proxy Server Address and Port information and click Ok.
If you have an advanced proxy server setup clicked ‘Advanced’ and enter a HTTP Server:
