Excel Error When Sending Data from Timer Pro

We have seen this issue when Previous Versions of Excel have been installed and upgraded or uninstalled:

This error is usually happens when a different version of Office has previously been installed on the machine then uninstalled.

Solution #1: Perform an Office Repair:

 If the end user does not have Admin rights, IT can perform an 'Office Repair'   Here is a link to perform an Office Repair:

Solution #2: Uninstall and Reinstall Microsoft Office

If solution #1 does not work, an uninstall and re-install of Office may correct the issue.  

Solution #3: Install a newer version of Office.   

If it is an option, installing a newer version of Office may work.  Office can be either installed as 32bit or a 64bit version.

Note to Mar

 Consider installing 64bit if 32bit does not work and 32bit if 64bit does not work.

Solution #4:  Registration entry Deletion

Removing registration entries for versions other than the installed version may fix the issue.  Follow this link for finding and deleting Office Excel registration entries. Have IT perform this step as it is potentially dangerous to delete registration entries.

Solution #5:  Machine refresh

Consider this if none of the above work.  Certain combinations of Microsoft Installs may require this. Have IT re-image the machine if all of the above do not work.
